Batanes

If you really want to go to a certain place, you have to do whatever it takes to be there. I’m not asking you to rob a bank to have the budget. You just have to work… save… and save a little bit more until you have enough moolah so you can explore.
Going to Batanes has been one of those dreams that I never thought would turn into reality. It is located in one of the farthest ends of the Philippines with a small population. Everything is believed to be pricey there because of its location so it took us one payday at a time to complete our flights and accommodation. We may have splurged a little on food and lodge but we made sure that our trips around the place weren’t as expensive as what others would expect.
Batanes is divided into 3 Islands: Batan (North and South), Sabtang, and Itbayat. We were only able to do the Batan tour because we opted to go to the Fountain of Youth on our last day.

Where we stayed:
It has free breakfast and shuttle service to and from the airport. The receptionists are also nice that they would contact a tricycle driver to take you wherever you want to.

Disclaimer:
This is a year-in-the-making trip so we splurged on food and accommodation. Please don’t judge us. LOL.
